(Note: I both appreciate the sentiment, if not practicality, of the disarmament movement. I also realize that the authorities need to enforce the law, if they are not to be shamed via civil disobedience to no longer enforce it. My ire here is drawn more by the nature of the punishment and vindictiveness than anything else.) #ddtb
