Margie was complaining this morning by IM about not having a single click access to Google Calendar. "Not even off the black bar menu at the top of the screen?" No, she noted she didn't have a black bar any more.
Strange.
This evening, I saw what she meant, and, yeah. That sucks.
The new "Google Bar" ends up with a menu that you can hover over.. But that menu doesn't have Calendar on it — to get to that, you have to go and choose "More" at the bottom.
WTF, Google?
This doesn't affect me in particular because I just keep a browser tab open to Mail, Calendar, and Reader. But is that what what Google intends folks to do? Or are they just kind of giving up on Calendar? Strangeness.

Yea…it has been back and forth for me too…I hate it because I mostly use Reader and you have to do the same thing. I HATE roll over menus…for some reason it takes me a few tries to get where I need to be. :-/
Interesting. I wonder when these things get pushed? I still have the black bar with one-click access to Calendar. I like that. I don't want to go for a buried link to something I don't keep open on a regular basis but still like to check from time to time.
I'm surprised it's taken this long. My account, though, is still on the black bar version. (And Margie found an option to revert.)
