On the one hand, I'm unhappy for a variety of reasons with the idea of prequels to Alan Moore's "Watchmen" maxiseries from the 80s. On the other hand, some of the writing talent they have involved — Brian Azzarello and Joe Straczynski, among others — is … promising.
