Wish some natively-loaded Ice Cream Sandwich version of Android phones were coming out from Verizon beyond the Samsung Nexus G2, but both of these are getting pretty good press, and should get ICS relatively soon. Need to go down to the Verizon store and play … #ddtb

Motorola Droid 4 vs. Droid RAZR MAXX
A look at how the Motorola Droid 4 stacks up against the Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX.

Played with a Droid RAZR MAXX (boy, do I dislike that name) at lunchtime. It's … a phone. No, it's nice, but, honestly, it's not substantively different to pick up and hold in a store than, say, my current phone, an HTC Incredible. Much less of a change than my previous switch, from a Blackberry to the Incredible.
The Droid 4 is supposed to be out … maybe … this week. We'll have to see how a slider feels. Downside: more complex moving parts. Upside: more screen available whilst typing.

The big selling point for the RAZR MAXX for me may well be the battery life. http://www.gottabemobile.com/2012/01/31/droid-razr-maxx-review/ … though the rest of it specs out pretty good, too.
