Whoa! How cool is that! (well, at last look, about 45 I guess). 😉
The area of my yard that has some crocuses is still under about 3 feet of snow since it is shaded for part of the day by the house next door. But I have observed some fresh iris spears starting to emerge as last week's snow has melted in other areas of the yard.
Lovely! One of the few things I miss about having a house (and garden) is watching for those first flowers. I didn’t have crocus, but I did have snowdrops.
@Ellie – One of the nice things about living someplace like Colorado, vs. Caliifornia, is getting seasons that will provoke bulb growth. 🙂
And as a bonus, it means I can officially put up a spring flowers flag out front. 🙂
