The last leap day explanation you'll ever need

A lot of websites are writing about leap day today. Duh. And most are giving the basics: a year is 365.25 days, so every four years we add a day, blah blah blah.

BUT, that's not the whole story. A year is actually 365.2421904 days, and that shortage of 0.0078096 days (just 11 minutes) turn out to be important! And if you do the math, you can figure out all the leap year rules.

Wanna see that math? ALL the math? Sure you do! Go here:
