Piracy, Righteousness, and Realism

An interesting set of thoughts on whether consumers pirating (or downloading pirated) materials are being driven by an unreasonable sense of entitlement ("I want it now, in the format I want!") or are sending a legitimate market signal — and, if the latter, whether it's better for the media companies to demand what's "right" or to be realistic and try to meet that signal.

I've been working through my own moral evaluation of the matter. More on that at some point … #ddtb
