To wit, when you demand that the President of the United States declare "I stand with Israel," you are epitomizing what the "Israel Firster" crowd is about. The only country the President of the United States should officially declare he stands with is the United States.
Oh, and to claim that calling some folks "Israel Firsters" is anti-Semitic because it's declaring Jews of having dual loyalties is silly because (a) it's not calling all, or even most, Jews to be "Israel Firsters" and (b) not all "Israel Firsters" are Jewish.
Indeed, arguing that Jews are an ideologically monolithic block, and a criticism of one (in the US or in Israel) is a criticism of all is, itself, anti-Semitic.
I believe in Israel's right to existence, and that we have many interests in common, but the US and Israeli interests are not completely "aligned," and the actions of the Israeli government are not automatically in the best interest of the United States. #ddtb
