Miscellany from over the weekend.
Serious stuff
- Illegal but not punishable – If there’s no accountability for breaking the law, then there is no law.
Family stuff
- At the concert – Kay’s band concert, that is.
- She will control the horizontal – And her posture was a lot more vertical than the other kids, too.
- Ivy at the Glenn – We ate there Saturday night. A mixed experience.
Fun stuff
- Cat being a cat – I’ve actually watched one of ours do this.
- Ninja convention! – Lurking Room Only.
- Whedon’s Master Plan for the Avengers Revealed! – Heh.
- The mundane is marvelous – A picture of dirt and rocks. From Mars, fergoshsakes.
I forgot to mention that the Flagstaff House in Boulder uses iPads as part of its Wine Celler List.
Somehow, I really never thought I’d see the day when warrantless wiretapping would be OK. I grew up during the Red Scare, and stuff like that was what we were told The Bad People did. Here in the US, we were free. We didn’t have to worry about the government spying on our every day lives like the poor people in Russia. Silly, I suppose, to hang on to that fantasy.
