And, yes, of course Research in Motion (RIM) is on the list, and of course my wife's employer's IT group just insisted, against all sanity (and my repeated rants to her), that she be issued a Blackberry because apparently that's all they will support for her to get her company mail.

Next thing you know, they'll get her a Suzuki as a company car and make American the company-approved airline …

  1. I'm not convinced RIM will be gone in 2013.. .they still have billions in cash sitting around, are partially owned by the CA gov, and are supposedly laying of 30% of its workforce soon.

    While I don't predict them turning it around, I suspect they will limp through another year or become a hardware-only company.
