So the (Rick Perry-appointed) judge argued that since the cheerleaders were individually allowed to pick the cheer banners (emblazoned with Bible quotes) that it wasn't the government actually doing it and to block it would harm the free speech rights of those cheerleaders.
I am now just waiting for a cheerleader to choose a Quran verse, or something minority political, or something obscene. And we'll just see how quickly the school district, state attorney general, governor, and district judge rush to protect her free speech / free religion rights.
