Now, to be completely fair, a lot of factors go into committee chairmanship (seniority being a big one). So I seriously doubt that the House GOP leadership intentionally picked an all-white, all-male set of committee chairs (esp. since that describes 90% of their number). Nor would I necessarily want to see some "token" effort to throw a woman or minority just for the sake of doing so.
That said, it's still pretty amusing. Or irritating. Or telling. Or all three.

A pretty lucid/logical reaction to getting curb stomped by the most diverse coalition of voters this country has ever seen.

House Republicans pick their committee chairs. What’s missing? Diversity.

Like putting the Falcon on the roster of the government-sanctioned Avengers?
[Trivia question for Dave: Which issue was that?]*
*It’s my favorite issue of The Avengers. Michelinie, Byrne, and Day FTW!
Don’t recall the specific issue, I’m afraid, though that was a good time. Busiek revisited that theme, @Avo, on his/Perez’ Avengers run, too. Hmmmmm … whatever happened to Triathalon?
One of the best, especially the Hank & Pete show.
Randy, “Hank & Pete”?
