I was familiar with four of those, but knew the names of only two (one of which I would not have considered a letter).
Actually “eth” is for the ‘th’ in ‘then’ and “thorn” for the ‘th’ in ‘thin’.
Randy, are you sure? I always see “ye olde” in “shoppe” signs, indicating that the thorn was used in “the.”
