My 12-year-old daughter's reaction: "Why are they changing it in the first place? There's nothing wrong with the outfit, and it fits the personality they portrayed her as having. They might have changed it because, at the end of the movies, they give the princesses a big makeover, like in 'Princess at the Frog' they give Tianna a big fancy dress. But it doesn't make sense changing it afterward. And the kids who are going to be dressing up as princesses, the younger girls age 6 and 7, aren't going to be wearing that dress — like the Jasmine dress, they had to alter it so it was less teenage style and more little girls style."
Margie's note, beyond the waist size, was to bust size and low cut of the dress. Whereas my first visual reaction is to all the makeup.
