RoboCop Redux

On the one hand, the original RoboCop does what it does perfectly, as a hyperviolent satire  and examination of the spirit of free will, even beyond the grave.

So I don't really see a new rendition as necessary, though I have to say there are hints of interesting bits here (a deeper past relationship for Murphy; a discussion of free will in a cybernetic age).  I don't know if I'd buy that for a dollar, but I'm not rejecting it out of hand. Yet.
