While taking pot shots at pols is easy and fun, I have to say that one of my senators, Mark Udall (mentioned here more than once), has been doing a heck of a job vs. intelligence community shell games and their declarations of sacrosanct secrecy.

I have a niave hope that one day people will be held accountable and we can start trying to live up to our national mythology of being an ethical nation. Not that we ever have been, particularly, but it would be nice to start trying in my lifetime.
