Yeah, yeah, own petard and all that, but it's nice to see him actually say something about the folks who have been jerking his chain during his whole Speakership.
The question becomes, will he be able to sell the deal to the House GOP, or will he need the Dems to make it happen — or will his whole Speakership (finally) collapse? It'd be a fun opportunity to watch with a tub of popcorn, if it didn't have such real-world impact.
