I have a fondness for the serval, and they are, in fact, treated as semi-domesticated in some parts of the world. That said, we have enough problems with our much smaller domestics (and there are a ton of cats at shelters who need homes), so I will treat this as an interesting curiosity I've no particular desire to own.
