Or, put another way, the world's temperature is not on a global rheostat, and a cold today, right where you are, today, doesn't mean that it's overall colder everywhere.

Since this keeps coming up, let’s go back to basics.
Sorry, I couldn't get past "1) Global warming refers to the whole planet, not just the United States." Everyone knows that the only place that matters on the whole planet is the United States. Anything that happens elsewhere in the world just doesn't much matter at all.
