Larry Page talks about the sale. Bottom line: Google either (a) mainly wanted Moto's patent portfolio (which it's keeping), and/or (b) Google didn't want to be "all in" in the handset sales business. Either or both makes sense, but there's a lot of folks going berserk out there about this deal.
