We just played Arkham Horror. Much fun, but pretty long. If we can find time to play it often enough I'll invest in some of the expansions.

I am told that Elder Sign has many of the elements that made Arkham Horror so fun but takes about half as long to play, even with the expansions that increase the challenge.
