It's a small world (on the BBC).

No no no no no no no no no yes, that is a good show.
🙂
Sounds like a lovely Valentine’s Day. Not my favorite episode, but up there in the top 5 — especially with the Dr connection. And the pepper steak sounds pretty good, also.
Sorry to comment late, but a cow exploded in the barn…
Did you know Roger Lloyd Pack (Owen) died recently?
Still tryingto get my head around with ‘Dibley’ having a US fan base!
@LH: Don’t think I had heard about Pack — a shame. I enjoyed him here and in his (very different) roles in both Harry Potter and Doctor Who.
As @Ellie says, there’s a lot of folks in the States who like Britcoms. For me it had particular resonance, being both Episcopalian and (when I first started watching it) a female curate at our parish. Plus, y’know, religious jokes _and_ Dawn French. What’s not to like?
@Last Hussar
I’m sorry to read about Roger Lloyd Pack. I liked him in everything I have seen him in, although Owen will always remain my favorite. Why should you be surprised? It’s a funny show (The Easter Bunny, being my favorite). Many of us in the US enjoy BritComs. BTW, nice opening line. 🙂
No particular reason you SHOULDN’T, just surprised it made its way over the pond, give it’s rather parochial (!)
Pack first came to fame in one of (if not the most) Britain’s favourite sitcoms, “Only Fools and Horses”, as ‘Trigger” the thick road sweeper (“Why do they call him Trigger? Is it because he carries a gun?” “No, he looks like a horse.”)
Now… Can I press you to a Salmon and Marmite sponge cake?
@LH – Not on a bet.
