I guess solar power must be doing pretty well

Because the Koch Bros., ALEC, and various allies are starting to attack it, both by working to strike down state laws requiring utilities produce a percentage of their energy through alternative means, and by working to get states to up fees for private citizens who sell excess solar back to utilities.

(I do agree that folks who depend on the grid should help pay for the grid. I would like someone with less of a vested interest than the utilities to provide some better analysis for this, esp. if the net effect is to discourage solar.)
