1. People who were really lucky that their asinine behavior didn't lead to their own (or others') injury or death.
2. People who were really lucky that others' asinine behavior (or sometimes just random occurrences) didn't lead to their injury or death.
People who fall into category 1 will, I hope, devote themselves in thanksgiving to a life of service and contemplation and (preferably) celibacy.

+Whiting1289 Not necessarily. There's rarely a complete break, but most people do learn at least some lessons (esp. if the experiences they had resulted in problems).
Yeah, I had a bunch of self-destructive behavior in my teens that I thankfully grew out of without getting in any serious accidents or anything. For which I feel fortunate.
