So rather than everything someone I have decided to follow, Twitter will decide what's "relevant" to me? And rather than the sequence I'm used to, it's going to move things around? And this adds value for me… how?
I'm a long-time Twitter user. If I wanted to use Facebook, I'd use Facebook.

I abandoned the Twitter web app as soon as inline images came it. Now use Tweetdeck exclusively when on the PC.
Suspect Twitter now recognise that power users have already largely abandoned the web app, so they will increasingly dumb it down to attact newbies.
That's one of the reasons I hate facebook. Also every time the fb News Feed changes from "Most Recent" to "Top Stories" I swear it'll be the last. I hate that it'd constantly switching to that. I'm slowly disengaging now unliking businesses and random crap and removing data, and oddly fb is getting more interesting as I do it – I can actually see stuff from family and friends!
+Tim Hall Actually, I don't mind the web app. Though it's been a few years since I tried any of the desktop clients (esp. since Twitter kicked to many to the curb).
Okay. I will simply continue to not use Twitter.
