So … German news sites didn't like Google showing snippets of their content in search results. But after they filed suit, and Google stopped showing the snippets — which resulted in a serious drop in traffic — now they want Google to show snippets again … but give them a percentage of the ad revenue associated.
Also, they'd like to have their cake, and eat it, too.
