The Internet is not a private shopping mall to be milked for the greatest profit by the owner and biggest tenants, but a telecommunication service that, like the phone lines themselves, are a critical part of the infrastructure, and access to which must be kept on as level a playing field as possible. It's good to see the FCC embracing Title II in a reasonable fashion.

Well done, Team Internet. After a year of intense activism, we may have finally convinced the Federal Communications Commission to change course and craft clear, bright-line rules to protect the open internet, based on legal authority that will actually survive the inevitable legal challenge.
