Because, of course, rather than talking about the substance of Obama's interview about racism in America, it was far more distracting to talk about how Obama used the "n-word" (and then to dub him "rapper in chief").
I mean, if there is a legitimate occasion for the someone to use the word "nigger," it's in discussing its role in racism in America, wouldn't you think? (And, hopefully, in discussing the discussion about its role in racism in America …)
But, no, Fox has to bleep it, asterisk it out, pretend that the word doesn't exist even while talking about it, and then focus the conversation, not on what Obama was overall saying at the time, but on THAT WORD and how bad it makes the president to have used it.
Yeesh.
