Of course, I suspect there are some folk here in the US who aren't thrilled by them, either … but the US doesn't have a law banning "gay propaganda," even though such emoji clearly "promote non-traditional sexual relationships," "deny family values," and show "disrespect for parents and other family members."
(They also promote blue/pink color associations for boys and girls, but that's for another post.)
