So I've been slavishly (well, occasionally but thoroughly) recording my reading in Goodreads, just for these sorts of annual listings.

Unfortunately, it conflates my "text" books with my "audio" books with my "graphic novel" books, which I consider three separate categories. If you want to see a more complete listing, you can visit https://www.goodreads.com/review/list/4631805
Of the 83 books, 24 this year were re-reads (not counting graphic novel collections where I'd read the original issues).

Caveat: A 5-star "It was amazing" rating is an amazingly fragile thing. There are any number of these that could get knocked down to a 4-star ("I really liked it") on any given day, and many of the many 4-stars that, in the passion of the moment, could have gotten bumped up to 5.
That said, the number there is large enough that it's probably worth something as a psychological (or at least aesthetic) insight. And I certainly recommend any of the 5-stars (or 4-stars (or even 3-stars)) to your enjoyment.
On to next year!
I agree, The Martian is 5 stars any day of the week. I'll have to check out your list.
+LeNae Iscience Well, I won't make any claims other that that I enjoyed them; anyone else's mileage may (and probably will) vary.
