And, yeah, if it wasn't an (elderly and in poor health) former Speaker of the House, I suspect we'd be seeing more than 15 months plus probation and treatment here. But, on the other hand, that's more than I'd have guessed he'd get, especially after an array of Republican colleagues wrote to the court, extolling how helpful, and nice, and pious, and a great leader, and a wonderful friend, Hastert was to them.
Which I'm sure he was, aside from the sexual abuse and financial shenanigans.
