The co-chair of Trump's national veteran's coalition is not only insistent that Hillary Clinton literally should be shot by a firing squad for treason, but is outraged that the "liberal media" misrepresented his words as calling for assassination; no, he insists, it's for a formal firing squad execution.
Which leads to this conclusion by the (non-Clinton fan) writer of the article:
'One reason voters like me, who would normally root for Hillary Clinton to lose, much prefer her to Donald Trump is the judgment that, if elected, he’ll surround himself with the sort of ignorant extremists who are eager to bring out the firing squads. That may sound overwrought. Yet it is literally what this adviser has repeatedly urged.'
And, given how hands-off I'd expect a President Trump to be, that makes it even more important of a question.
