What's Trump tweeting about now? Anything about his new nominees? No, he's got a steel axe to grind about … the United Steel Workers?
Chuck Jones, who is President of United Steelworkers 1999, has done a terrible job representing workers. No wonder companies flee country!
If United Steelworkers 1999 was any good, they would have kept those jobs in Indiana. Spend more time working-less time talking. Reduce dues¹
Those tweets were actually an hour apart.
So what's got Trump's fingers in a twist? Oh, look, it's more blather about the "big" Carrier deal that Trump negotiated and which Chuck Jones has criticized Trump for only half-delivering on (and for overstating the number of jobs not being moved to Mexico).
What's remarkable about this is the demonstration, once again, of how thin-skinned Trump is, and how quick and even eager he is to lash out at people who criticize him.
Imagine how Obama, or G W Bush, or B Clinton, would have handled this. If they acknowledged it at all, it would have been in a press conference, in response to a question, and would have been along the lines of "Mr Jones has his opinion, and we have ours, and we believe that the deal with Carrier which is saving X jobs is a success for the ability of &c."
Trump, instead, throws out a couple of afternoon tweets, attacking the person attacking him, and blaming him for the problems Trump claims he's solved.
It's going to be an interesting four years.

Trump unleashes tweet on Carrier union boss who blasted him
President-elect Donald Trump lashed out Wednesday at a union leader who has criticized Trump’s Carrier job deal as a promise “half-way delivered.”
Might as well get used to it. He's a New York con man. It's what he does.
+Jw Collins If I thought it was an intentional tactic or cultural quirk, I could live with it more easily. The problem is that it feels like knee-jerk anger and letting himself be manipulated by events. And that's kind of worrisome.
+Dave Hill In a few weeks he'll have an army and a nuclear arsenal to knee jerk with. I'd say "worrisome" is understating the situation. Not sure 'worry' is gonna help at this point.
It’s Twittourettes: Twitter + Tourettes
The Union Boss was on NPR last night being asked about all the attention he is getting from various news outlets as well as crazed Trump supporters. His response, "If it keeps job outsourcing in the news and people are thinking and talking about it, I'm all for taking these calls." The kicker is, the Mr Chuck Jones doesn't on Twitter, so he didn't even see Trumps tweets.
“Interesting”
Well that is one way to characterize putting a spoiled brat in charge of the world’s most powerful country…
