  1. Bullroarer client installed, Dwarf Guardian created and out of the intro. Ready for tomorrow night. Wish me luck!

  2. Running into the pesky checksum error. Following the recommended fix from the community site (delete the .hdr file and try again). Hope to get it resolved before tonight.

  3. I’ll be playing my Dwarf Guardian Avosi. Look for him (or send a tell) if you want some company.

  4. I guess I’ll be heading out Bree way:

Encounter: It Came from the Midgewater Swamp!

    Levels 1 – 20

All sorts of wild things are arriving from the swamp and the chetwood forest to disturb the poor defenseless folk of Combe and Staddle. Bree’s guards have finally swept clear the South-Guard Ruins near Andrath, but now they threaten to be overrun again! Hurry, new adventurers and defend these three locations!

  5. No, those are pasted from the boards, and are Eastern.

Lag is horrific. I’m showing 175-200 FPS, but am taking a step every few seconds. Oops. Just lost connection to the server (others mentioned the broken link icon, so I’m likely not the only one).

Sadly, the lowest level mobs seem to be 13, so even if an attack fires off after 20-30 seconds and the enemy is still there, I can’t hit him.

Level 13 dev spider, Hobbiteater, had 230k Morale!

  6. Instead of heading to the Great Barrow, I leveled to 10 so i could create a monster. Now my warg is trying to get somewhere, but the Ettenmoors are new to me, and with all the lag…

  7. Well, I guess this is why they call it a stress test.

As Margie notes elsewhere, she’s hitting some bad performance, too.

  8. I guess a lot of people didn’t understand the point, as they were whining about the lag and urging the devs to fix it. >_<
