Well, goggles are always good, but not critical.
More importantly, it gives you special tailor access to body type changes between costume slots. Calling Dr. Banner — your Huge alter-ego is available in costume slot 2! Or, alternately, you can finally do Victor/Victoria style characters.
All fun, but I don’t see myself dropping $9.99 for this one. (Some pix here.)
Smart move on NCSoft’s part, though. Last weekend was CONvergence in Minneapolis, a local SF/Fantasy con, and there were over a dozen attendees dressed as Dr. Horrible.
I wonder how many are on Virtue as I write this?
Oh, the Mad Scientist thing is definitely made easier with this set. Though it’s been doable for a while.
I bought the last two, but not this one. Not enough good stuff. I’d have loved to see Vahz costume bits and other classic ‘mosters from the slab’ costume bits. If this were 2 years ago I might have bought it for the size/shape change, but it’s not enough at 50+ months in.
Agreed.
