United Airline mechanics have rejected the most recent contract offer. They could go on strike as soon as 10:01 p.m., next Tuesday.
Margie’s folks are flying into town over the weekend. They leave two hours or so before H-Hour.

I won’t debate the legitimacy of either side’s position here. I’m afraid I’m enough of a selfish git to wish they’d just get it resolved, justly or un-, in time for my flight.
