It’s the Friday Five!
1. What is your favorite scary movie?
I’m not much for scary movies, per se. That whole genre during the 70s-90s never did anything for me.
I did get the bejeebers scared out of me by Blair Witch, but I wouldn’t call it a favorite. And I recall enjoying The Omen, but it’s been years since I saw it.
2. What is your favorite Halloween treat?
Candy Corn. It’s my one week of the year to make myself sick on the stuff.
3. Do you dress up for Halloween? If so, describe your best Halloween costume.
Been some years since I did. My best costume was, no doubt, going as a Bajoran to the Magic Castle on Halloween back in, oh, ’93 or so. Mark did the nose prosthetic, I slicked my hair back and had a Bajoran pin. It was great fun (as was the evening).
4. Do you enjoy going to haunted houses or other spooky events?
I do, but Margie does not. So we don’t.
5. Will you dress up for Halloween this year?
Probably not. I do sometimes put on something funny to answer the door in, but not often.
Gads. The doorbell is on the fritz. Yike.

TCM showed Poltergeist and The Exorcist last night, the only two movies that can give me the heebie-jeebies.

I like it so much, I have a plush candy corn I received back when I was married.

Used to wear my Star Trek costume (TOS science officer).

Not any more, but I do have a newspaper photo of me from the community college haunted house, where I was the headless butler!

Nope. I’ll be at work, and I have one of those low-end jobs where you have to wear a uniform.
Hrm — I forgot Poltergeist (which I made the mistake of watching alone in the house).
