The test layout is now the production layout. Hilarity ensues, no doubt.
Now all I need to do is rebuild everything, then fill in the little supporting pages (aside from the index and standard archives) that haven’t gotten updated/reformatted since few designs ago.
(I might hold off on rebuilding everything until I’m certain the layout is solid, probably by tonight. So if you comment on something new, it may come up with the old page.)
UPDATE: I have a new link button, too. ![]()
Wow. I thought it was a total redesign until I looked at it in IE. Camino (Mozilla-based) doesn’t render either sidebars at all. The ***Dave images are completely gone, and the right-sidebar is at the bottom of the page.
I like the white, though.
Did Camino render the previous one okay? Because I didn’t make any significant CSS changes in the new design. That’s bizarre.
Yeah, it did. There was the occasional missed entry (I think it has an issue with comment fields), but I got the sidebars.
How odd.
Mutter mutter mutter CSS frickin errors mutter mutter mutter …
I’ll see what I can see.
I didn’t see this prob in the earlier test link, but the text size is WAY too small… it look like 5 or 6px.
And I can’t change it’s size, meaning it is locked in CSS.
Eyes failing…
we can’t hold it…
everything going white…

…
Text size has not changed at all from the “test link” — and it’s set at 10pt.
And, yeah, I know that I shouldn’t be specifying point size in my style sheets, but letting people choose what they want. Bah.
