So I’ve been doing the Geek Diet thing pretty faithfully the past few weeks. My weight (based on a rickety bathroom scale, so add in some inaccuracy there) has been hovering around 211, but this morning it was down to 208. Which is odd, because the Geek Diet tells me I was not all that virtuous a boy this weekend, despite usually staying away from seconds. Maybe a bit of dehydration (in which case I expect things to bob back up tomorrow). Still, it was nice to break 210. Still driving to beat 200 by the end of
the year.

On the 1500 Miles to Nowhere, I’m staying sort of on track, having gotten my pedometer troubles ironed out. I’m over three-quarters of the way (which is good, because so is the year), but my miles-per-day figure is still not keeping up with where I need to be, despite pushing more walking during lunch.

So … kinda-sorta pleased, but more work yet to go.
