The new $5 billIn color!

“It’s full of stars …”

And … guys?  I know you’re out to kick the counterfeiters butts — but for all the glitz and drama and Flash and cool designage at your site, spattering every picture of the money — including these reduced versions — with “SPECIMEN SPECIMEN SPECIMEN” not only doesn’t really counterfeiters, it really obscures the prettiness of the picture.

  1. Yeah, and since they keep putting out these new variations, they’re effectively training people to stop paying attention when money doesn’t look like what they’re used to.

Sort of like all those “Are you sure?” dialog boxes that don’t stop people from doing things accidentally so much as they train people to click on OK whenever a dialog pops up without actually reading the message.
