My parents are taking their annual driving trip out to Colorado, arriving today, departing on Tuesday, so I’m working from the home office today, tidying up between (and during) phone conferences.
It is probably a mark of our comfort levels all around that we have pretty much nothing planned. Well, that’s not quite true — I know where we’re going for dinner tonight. And I know that tomorrow is Bring Your Kid To Work day, and how that’s fitting in with their schedule. And I think we’ll be scheduling a BBQ/Game Day over the weekend to invite folks over.
But that level of planning is just short of anarchy when compared to ansgsting prior to trips past. Which is a good thing. 🙂
Though it occurs to me that I should make sure the guest bed is made. And maybe vacuum a bit before they get here. Hmmm, the windows are looking kind of dirty. Maybe run out for some flowers …
