Making the grade

Kay brought home her second trimester report card yesterday.  Very impressive, if I do say so myself …

Reading = A
Writing = A (up from a B)
Math = B (down from an A)
Science = A
Social Studies = A
Performing Arts = A
PE = B
Visual Arts = A

Skills & Behaviors = all are “Consistently Demonstrates” (improved her “complete assignments on time” score).

Some definite areas for improvement — we need to follow up on the Math, obviously, during our parent-teacher conference next week — and there are some particular proficiencies she needs some work on.  She was a little upset about the PE score, so we suggested she talk with the PE teacher and ask what it would take to be at an A.

Overall, very proud.
