Color commentary and other bloggy bits

Some time back (though I can’t find the comment thread where it came up), someone suggested that it would make a lot more sense if the comments by readers had a colored background, and comments by me had the same white background as the original blog entry.

I finally delved into that, and believe I have fixed it to do that thing. It was relatively straightforward via the Thesis theme, but still took a bit of research.

I’ve also tweaked ShareThis to only show little icons, not the “Share This” text, but that was fairly trivial.

And, finally, I’ve added a little “Follow Me” tab in the right margin with links to other social sites I socialize. That one’s an experiment.
