Make them something less than ubiquitous across time and space. Yes, they are great bad guys. Overexposure does not help that status.

I have little doubt this study will lead to great fulminating and screedifying in some quarters (ostensibly under the cover of health concerns), but to me it points to the need for constructive education and discussion, not Thou Shallt Nots and fearmongering.
