I remember 7th grade as the one where I really blossomed writing. Mind you, I’m not a particularly good writer (despite the kind words of my M.S. thesis advisor) but I do write. It got to be a habit and I can’t not do it. I think 7th grade was the turnaround point where writing ceased to be something done simply to get a grade and something to be done because I simply had to write.

Just back from a week-long vacation up into Yellowstone and back down through the plains of SD, WY, NE.

And since we were in Nebraska, and so much brouhaha has been raised of late about #Runza ... we stopped at one to try it out.
