Grilling Over Gas Is Objectively, Scientifically Better Than Grilling Over Charcoal | Wired Opinion | Wired.com
Fourth of July is hobby grilling. But what about the other days, when temps are in the 80s and all you want is to be in your backyard but instead you’re at the office, the kids need to eat by 7, and you still have to go to the store. This, my friend, is why a gas grill rules. But the real debate should be whether charcoal is necessary at all…
Agree with the convenience factor, but live in a condo and, in CA, it's illegal to transport a propane tank up the elevator. So the only allowed fuel is wood (or charcoal).
Someone is clearly friends with Hank Hill. “Strickland Propane – taste the meat, not the heat!”
Paula, it would be quite practical to hoist the tank up with a rope from the balcony where you grill.
That's … mildly crazy.
I understand the idea behind the restriction, but it seems to me that a wood/charcoal fire would be more dangerous to the building than a propane one.
In Boulder both gas and charcol grills are banned due to a history of explosions and buildings burning down.
Plus, meat is murder.
