Exactly what I thought last week. We snark about the supersaturated colors and hoot derisively at all the shiny old stuff they blew up to get shiny new stuff from their product-placement pals.

It’s become the Miami Vice of the Pacific, but with no Sunglasses of Justice.

Yeah, it was the premiere episode for the season that got me. I liked that, in S.1, McGarrett’s outrageous behavior eventually came back to bite him. That hasn’t been the case since, and that first ep for S.4 was so over the top “Are you INSANE, man?” it became a self-parody.
