Yes, that is Jessica. Krysten Ritter is doing an excellent job. And yes, that is the horror of her life. And yes, she is powered, and yes, it's not the focus of who she is or what she does or why she feels the way she feels. And yes, I really am looking forward to watching more than the single episode we squeezed in tonight.
I have heard people say already that this is the best comic book adaptation to date, better than Daredevil even. I don't know that I can say that yet, but I definitely see it gunning for that spot. I look forward to seeing if it succeeds.


Could be so much better than Daredevil but the writing needs tightening up.
Haven't watched any episodes yet but will definitely make sure to watch at least a few this weekend.
A lot of it is artificial and only happens for plot's sake.
