So it looks like about 10 inches overnight, which is a respectable amount. +Kay Hill is cheering (well, at the moment, snoring) over it being declared a Snow Day off from school, though I suspect that was less from the snow depth than from the icy nature of the roads last evening before the snow came down.
Anyhow. not going anywhere today, though we could if we needed to. Things are supposed to completely taper off soon, and we get to start to thaw out. Temps will get just high enough by Saturday to keep Superbowl Sunday from being too much of a mess.

Still no measurable snow in the Seattle area. This has been an exceedingly mild, dry winter.
And, of course, it's still snowing off and on. Not a huge increase in accumulation, but it's good to be "working" from home.
I've shoveled the front driveway and walk. The measurements taken out there are about 7-8".
In our neighborhood, it was closer to 6 inches, though with some areas of significant drifting to a foot or more. It was just at the limit of what Rascal would tolerate, though as soon as he's done his business he turned around and raced home — no dawdling or picking up his pmail. 😉
I may try the new version of the one true toy shining on the snow this evening — that's one time Rascal seems to actually enjoy snow, no matter the depth.
