Protecting American Farmers (who are actually Chinese)

Because the tariff war between the US and China is hurting American farmers, Trump has set up a special farm bailout program to make up for the losses his actions have cause.

In a nicely recursive fashion, that will in turn help some American farms that are own by Chinese agricultural firms.

A Chinese-owned pork producer will sell at least $240,000 worth of ham products to the federal government as part of the Trump administration’s farm bailout program, the administration said Wednesday. U.S. pork producer Smithfield, which is owned by the Chinese conglomerate WH Group, will sell 144,000 pounds of ham products to the federal government under the contract.

The Agriculture Department is purchasing pork and other commodities from U.S. farmers to help offset the damages from retaliatory tariffs imposed by China this summer. The administration has pitched the relief as a necessary short-term measure to help farmers weather the trade battle.

I'm sure the Chinese will appreciate the help.

  1. Film “Harvested Alive: Ten Years of Investigations” Screened at Slovak Parliament
    December 16, 2017

) The documentary film Harvested Alive: Ten Years of Investigations was screened in the Slovak parliament on Thursday, December 7, 2017.

About ten members of parliament and five assistants attended the screening, which was sponsored by MP Peter Osuský.

From left to right: Mr. Ivan Kuhn (assistant to Mr. Osuský), Mr. Renáta Kaščáková (MP, SaS party), Mrs. Anna Verešová (MP, OLaNO party), Mrs. Zuzana Zimenova (MP, independent), Mr. Peter Osusky (MP, SaS party), Mr. Marek Tatarko (Slovak Falun Gong Association)

The screening was prompted by a visit to Slovakia by a representative from the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China (WOIPFG) in October. WOIPFG representative Haiyan Wang met with MPs Ondrej Dostal and Peter Osusky on October 26.

After Haiyan Wang presented the conclusions of the WOIPFG investigations on the body exhibitions and live organ harvesting to them, the MPs said that they would welcome the screening of the WOIPFG documentary film Harvested Alive: Ten Years of Investigations at the Slovak National Council.

The screening was scheduled to coincide with Human Rights Day and was sponsored by Mr. Osuský.

After the film, the MPs suggested that more people should learn about this issue, and that they would like to help with its promotion. They posed for a group photo and asked to share it on social media.

    About the Film
As a doctor, Zhiyuan Wang spent 30 years studying how to save lives. He never imagined that he would spend another ten years investigating how Chinese doctors take innocent lives.

The documentary reveals the truth about how China’s hospitals, judiciary, and military worked together under the authority of former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin to slaughter Falun Gong practitioners to harvest their organs.
